The first time I heard electronic music I was hooked. Strangely, the -sometimes too precise- rhythms seemed more natural to me than anything I'd heard. I knew I loved music long before synth pop, but this weird new music wasn't just about melodies, chords, and traditional instruments, it was about the -sounds themselves.- Most importantly, those sounds were made with drum machines, and analog and digital synthesizers. Futuristic, retro, synthetic, electronics meet cool kid vocals and melodies.
